Do you struggle with school lunches? It seems like our options are whatever’s on the menu, which, let’s be honest…most kids don’t want or eat, or whatever you can create. I’ve seen the pics on Pinterest, and ummm…I’m not that crafty. I like the way it looks, I could buy the ingredients, but to actually pull something off that looks good and my kids would eat? I’m just not that good.
But you know what? I want to be that mom! I don’t make school lunches because I’m just not inspired. I could probably manage it for a week or so, but to continue to blow them away? Creating healthy lunches that are appetizing and appealing? It’s just too much for me. At least it was.
Have you heard of MOMables?
Each week is a .pdf download file that you should save and/or print. The week menu begins with tips that help you plan ahead, like -make a double batch, you’ll need it later- kind of thing. Very helpful. On the same page below the tips are the recipe names, 5 of them for the entire school week. Then the following 5 pages have the recipe inside a box that you can easily print on a 3.5×5 or 4×6 card and store in your recipe box. But the best part? After each recipe is a great picture! It really pulls it together. The recipes aren’t that difficult either. They are kid tested, easy to prepare and visually appealing. Especially compared with the tan foods you’d typically find on a school lunch tray! The final page is a shopping list. Make sure you raid your fridge and pantry before you do your grocery shopping.
Here’s what I’m talking about:
See? Visually appealing, healthy, colorful and oh so yummy!
Here, check out these sample menu’s:
Are you sold yet? It’s just $18.00 for a 3 month subscription! Why not give this as a gift certificate? This would make an absolute great gift for any mom that has school aged children! For under $20.00 too!
Bottom line? It’s a great service, a great price and it’s something you can do. You can pull together amazing looking lunches that will have your kids friends jealous with envy. Why not sign up today? Thank you Sue for allowing me to try your amazing service! I’ll be sending many moms your way!
