Want to advertise your business/blog on a T-Shirt?

I wanted to bring to your attention a great company that can print your logo on T-Shirts, Sweatshirts, Hoodies, Tanks, Hats and Work shirts. It’s called tshirtprinting.net. I LOVE the idea of putting my blog logo on a T-Shirt. That would be something I’d wear to advertise. Or would I just be tootin’ my own horn? Anyways, I’m sure most all businesses today are looking for a frugal method of advertising and this is one of them. Just make sure you always look for coupons online to save money.
Radio ads and commercials are expensive, and if research has taught us anything it’s that word of mouth advertising is crucial and very effective. So why not wear your business and see what type of conversations you can strike up just while running your everyday errands? It would be worth checking out.
The shirt I received is very nice quality. I have no complaints. They state that their pricing is competitive so I suggest you do a bit of comparative shopping before you place your order so you have a baseline to go off of. They can do HUGE quantities too! Up to 100,000! That’s impressive. Also, all the reviews I read said they received their shirt very fast. That’s a big selling feature for me! I hate waiting!
So do you have products printed with your logo other than business cards? How do you advertise?

A HUGE shout-out to Magnets.com

Maybe you remember my previous post about advertising ideas for your business/website/blog that I did a few weeks ago. If not, then you should go back and read it. Very good ideas! Anyways, they completely surprised me with a box full of HomemadeMom magnets!

What a great bunch of people to work with! So for all your magnet needs, calendars, pictures frames and much more, you have to check them out! Magnets.com rocks! The more you order the more you save!

How do you advertise your blog/website?

This is something I’ve been considering for a while now. There are SOOO many options, how do you decide what’s best for you? The most obvious are link and button exchanges. It requires someone to see your link/button on someone else’s site, then click on the link/button to find you. I like the idea of mom’s promoting mom’s, but many websites charge a monthly fee which may be out of budget for some.

Another option would be business cards. I love creating business cards, I think it’s fun to make them cute and eye catching, but really, how often do you keep them around? I’ve received hundreds of business cards over the years and I might have kept about 3. So why are we wasting our money? You know word of mouth is the best, most effective form of advertising. So how do we encompass word of mouth with something tangible?

I was contemplating just that as I was in my kitchen deciding what to fix for dinner. I stared at my fridge waiting for the answer to jump out at me. Staring back at me was my Little Caesars fridge magnet. How nice it was to see that phone number so conveniently placed. It got me thinking about advertising with magnets. I love magnets, my kids love magnets. They work perfectly to hold up my children’s artwork and my monthly calendar.

Here are some things to consider:

  • Did you know that on average a promotional magnet is seen over 4,000 times a year! On average the fridge is open 14 times a day, in my house I know it’s more than that!
  • Magnets are highly visible and competitor free since people usually keep just one of one type.
  • You get a high impact for a low cost. When you purchase in bulk you can score a ton of magnets for less than the cost of a postage stamp.
  • Magnets last as average of 3 years.
  • People keep magnets
  • Fun, unique and tailored to your needs

Those are just a few of the perks. So now that you’re considering promotional magnets, like I am, what can you get?

Word magnets are always a big hit for mom’s with children that are reading. It’s fun to create little messages for each other. This example even allows you to frame a photo. I could see this one being great for a blogger.

Calendar magnets are always useful. As a busy mom of 3 boys I find it extremely helpful to have a calendar nearby so I can use it for quick reference. The only downside is that after the year is up this one will end up in the trash.

Do you have a cooking blog/website? How great would this magnet be to bring people to your site over and over again. I would use this type of magnet a few times a week I’m sure. It would also be fresh on my mind to revisit that website for new recipes!

What about all the money saving websites out there? Especially the ones that teach saving money on groceries with coupons. How cute is this one?

Want to promote your Etsy shop? How about a car magnet? This would also be extremely useful for mom’s with home based businesses. Think Avon, Mary Kay, Tupperware, Pampered Chef and many more.

So I’m thinking magnets are the way to go! Magnets.com can even create custom shapes if you need that sort of thing. Just check out their Design Gallery for ideas. Pricing isn’t bad either. If you’re committed to your cause, then you will be able to justify the cost. The more you order the bigger price break you get. They also have coupons!

If you want to stay in the loop of their deals and steals I suggest you like them on facebook.

Most importantly, do magnets really work to promote your business? YES! I did order Little Caesar’s pizza that night. How could I not with that cute little logo enticing me to use a coupon? I didn’t feel like cooking and it was too easy not to. So yes, it really does work.

How do you advertise?

*Disclaimer – I was sent a sample pack of magnets in order to form an opinion to share with my readers for this review. The magnets I received are a very strong and durable product. The product itself influenced my opinion, however I was not asked or influenced to provide a positive review.
