Just took my hair out of my nightly wet bun and I have all these amazing curls!

When it’s wet right after a shower, I pile it all on top of my head in a big bun and sleep on it that way. Love the results!

How to make your hair sparkle for just $11.00!

Have you hear of Hair Flair? They make an assorted line of hair tinsel. I had never seen it before but wanted to give it a try once I knew it existed. I was sent a packet of hair tinsel to try. The directions say that it’s easier if you have someone to help you do it, I decided to tackle it myself. Honestly, it really wasn’t that hard. Just follow the great tutorial on their website. If the pics aren’t enough they have a great tutorial video on YouTube too.

After I did myself the boys wanted to do it too. Camden’s hair is longer and straight so I tied it in in the back and let it lay forward. It didn’t last but a few hours in his hair before it all came out. I attribute that to the fact that his hair is very soft and short. I did red in Cohen’s hair and he made me take it right out. He didn’t like the feel of the knots. He said it felt like ticks. Little man has some serious issues with anything that feels remotely tick like. He had a few last summer and the horror of it has stayed with him. He cracks me up.

Looks good on boys too! Just doesn’t stay in as well.

I wanted you to see the potential though. Why just for girls? It doesn’t have to be. These would be great for a night out, a school dance, a fund raiser, a sporting event, weddings, bachelorette parties, just about anything really. I put mine in for no special occasion. How about just for wanting to be a cool mom? That worked for me!

Are you intrigued yet? Want to see how easy it really is? Well then, I made you a video. Just check it out.

These retail for just $11.00 for 100 strands! That’s a bunch of hair flairs! I used about 6-7 on mine. It would look really cool though to have had 10-20 in there. That would draw a lot of attention though. I’m thinking this would look really amazing on some Cheerleaders or dancers. Wouldn’t it? If you are a stylist you can get them for $10.00. They have so many amazing colors. You should order a set in your school colors! How fun!

The Details
  • It says it lasts 4-6 weeks, but mine only lasted one week. I think if someone else had done it it would have been much tighter and stayed in longer.
  • Affordable at just $11.00 for 100 strands.
  • Safe to use your hair dryer, flat iron, curling iron and styling products.

Zachs Wax Colored Hair Gel Review

I want you all to check out this site www.zachswax.com. This colored hair gel is VIBRANT! It washes out easily in the shower (or bath if your kids are like mine), and is perfect for so many occasions! Just check out our video of the kids and their friend trying out Zach’s Wax for the first time.

It’s perfect for when your daughter wants pink highlights, or when your son wants hair like Johnny Test. What blond headed kid wouldn’t like some orange and red tips on a spiky ‘do? Some days I’m feeling a little wild and it would be really fun for the kids I watch at the daycare to see me with pink hair to match my pink shirt. Imagine the looks I’d get when picking up my kids at school. I’d be the coolest mom ever! This makes changing up your hair to match a “look” completely attainable! No longer are you restricted to the spray color that you see at Halloween. That stuff sucks anyways, you get more on your scalp, furniture and floor than you do in your hair.

Check out there specials, you end up getting some freebies! Want to see all the options out there before you buy it? Check out the image gallery. My most beloved part about this company is this line here:

Need a new idea to reinvigorate your fundraising? Try Colors for Causes, a new concept for raising awareness, enthusiasm and money.

They raise money for different causes! See that? How inspiring!

Aussie Hair Care Review

I recently had the opportunity to try out some new Aussie Hair Care products and I’m really impressed! I’ve been using Pantene for years, but honestly, I’ve been converted. Aussie smells great (for days!) and it seemed to take my hair back to what it was before I had Cutler. My hair has been dry and coarse feeling since he was born, and after 2 days of using the Aussie Shampoo & Conditioner my hair feels so soft and conditioned. I’m amazed at the change.

Wen Cleansing Conditioner Review

I was given the opportunity to try out the Wen Hair Care line and today I’m highlighting the Cleansing Conditioner and their Styling Creme.

Wen® Cleansing Conditioner is designed to eliminate ordinary shampoo without sacrificing the integrity and beauty of your hair.

How cool is that? You don’t need to continue shampoo AND your hair will look so much better! Just check out the before and after pics on their website. The instructions say to use 16-40 pumps depending on your length and type of hair. Click here to view his tips on how to properly use the product.

A big Shout Out to Cristina for allowing me to try out the product. I can’t wait to see how my hair changes with continued use. Thanks!!!
