For years now I’ve been sitting around commenting on how stupid some commercials are. They drive me crazy! Really. Some of these commercials are so ridiculous I have to wonder just what exactly is the advertising/marketing team trying to accomplish? Are they just absolutely clueless as to what the American public needs and wants? So I thought I would expand my critiques to include all of you…the general public. (no one else here wants to hear my comments anymore) Besides, I think my husband is getting tired of trying to come up with ways to keep me quiet when he’s trying to watch tv. I can be quite distracting when I dumbfounded! Ha ha ha!!!
So this week I saw a commercial from Dairy Queen that I’ve seen before and I LOVE it! It gathers your attention with the cute doggie, then the dog wants to dip?!? How friggin cute!!! I feel this ad was VERY effective, after it aired my boys wanted to go to DQ and try out all the new dips for chicken strips. I mean, come on, who doesn’t like to dip?
So chime in. I need someone to banter with me. What do you think? Effective, why?
